The annual conventions combine education, business, networking and social activities in a relaxed atmosphere. Meet and correspond with manufacturer and associate members from across the country.
LadderSafety.org - ALI’s newest training resource for safe ladder use. The information on this site is organized by ladder type with additional resources listed for more technical support. The site provides valuable safety information in a consumer friendly manner for all ladder users, professional & in home.
Multimedia Training Program - Currently being developed to provide online training to professionals, this program involves specific educational content based on the selection, care and safe use of ladders. Modules are determined by ladder type, with a testing feature and certificate of completion.
Working Committees - Willing to lend a hand? ALI’s objectives are realized through a strong committee structure and an active Board of Directors. We welcome new members to participate in any of the following committees: Associates, Material Supply, Membership, Product Liability, Education, Standards, and Conference.
A14 Committee - ALI is the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved developer of industry standards; as such, ALI manages the standards development process. As the Secretariat of the A14 committee, ALI has developed a solid and professional working relationship across a broad spectrum of interests and disciplines, all contributing to a strong and responsive voluntary standards process.
Important Industry Partnerships - ALI actively participates with the National Safety Council (NSC), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to represent the interests of our industry. ALI is also the voice of our industry before governmental commissions and agencies, and has recently entered into a partnership with the National Institute for Occupational and Safety Health Administration (NIOSH) involving safety research and testing.
